Today we all wrote about the chicks in our writing lesson. Read a fantastic piece of Year 2 writing:
In Purple class we got some chicks. We have the chicks for two weeks and we are watching them grow and develop. Now it is Thursday 6th June and the last two chicks are hatching. The chicks have moved to a different incubator with food and water because some of them have been there for two days.
The chicks keep falling over! The brown chicks are males and the yellow chicks are females. The chicks take 21 days until they hatch.
The chicks are very cute and funny and they like all of my friends, they even like me!
There are 11 chicks in the incubator. I like the chicks. When they were in the first incubator they ate something from their egg, now they eat chicken food. When they grow up they will eat worms.
