Our EGG-cellent egg diary, Tuesday 11th June

Ten chicks have hatched.  They are all in the big blue box now.  Sadly, one of the eggs didn't hatch.  Today, Miss Nathalie is going to paint the chickens! She is going to put a little dot of food colouring on each chicken so that we can recognise them.  Then all the children are going to suggest names for the chicks.

Since last week the chicks have changed a lot.  They are much bigger and faster and they are developing adult feathers on their wings.
